Austin Area MLS Statistics
Month over month changes indicate that the market has slowed a bit for Number of Units Sold (Homes Sold) and Average Sales Price in September 2014. According to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the Austin, Texas Residential Real Estate Market reflected a month over month decrease of -8% in Units Sold and a small decrease of -3% in Average Price compared to August 2014.
When looking at the year over year numbers, we can see that the current market is slightly better than September 2013 in Number of Units Sold. New Sales in September 2014 were at 2,729 units compared to September 2013 when we had 2,657 units sold. We are selling at 3% more than this time last year.
